UM’s vice rector Prof. Simon Ho notes that the employment situation of UM graduates is satisfactory

A survey on further study and employment rates of the graduates of the University of Macau (UM) for the 2009/2010 academic year shows that the overall employment rate and further study rate of UM graduates are 83% and 11% respectively. The survey shows that over 40% of the graduates found jobs before graduation, with the highest monthly salary exceeding MOP 34,000. UM’s vice rector Prof. Simon Ho notes that the employment situation of UM graduates is satisfactory, which is a reflection of the continuing economic prosperity of Macao as well as society’s recognition of UM graduates’ competences.
