The University of Macau (UM) Library strives to constantly improve its service quality. Recently it has been accepted as a member of the RapidILL system, an international interlibrary loan network developed at the Colorado State University Libraries in US. Through this system, users will be able to obtain the journal articles free of charge from a large number of academic libraries overseas with a much shorter turnaround time. The system will also help strengthen UM’s cooperation with overseas universities, enable the library to better support research and teaching, and offer more resources for the users.
