A delegation from Tsinghua University, led by the university’s president Peng Gang, visited the University of Macau (UM), and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song and Vice Rector Billy So. Tsinghua University has recently established five residential colleges, and President Peng Gang hopes to learn from UM’s experience in this area, particularly in the development of a unique culture, effective management of the colleges, and general education. Peng highly praised UM’s residential college system and expressed hope that the two universities would maintain communication and collaboration in the future.
