The University of Macau (UM) Women’s Volleyball Team recently won the championship of a local inter-varsity volleyball competition. This is the sixth consecutive year that the team has won the championship at this event. The UM Men’s Volleyball Team was the first runner-up in the competition. Organised by the Macau Universitarian Sports’ Association, with assistance from UM and the Volleyball Association of Macau, China, the event attracted teams from UM, Macao Polytechnic Institute, Institute for Tourism Studies, the University of Saint Joseph, the City University of Macau, and the Macau University of Science and Technology.
