Dr. Mak Pui In from FST of UM recently received the 2009 IEEE MGA GOLD Achievement Award from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). This award aims to reward young scholars who obtained during the last decade the first engineering degree (bachelor) in the fields of IEEE’s interest and who have made outstanding contributions to GOLD. Every year a maximum of six scholars from around the world receive this prestigious award.
