UM kicks off Healthy University Week

The University of Macau (UM) kicked off the 12th Healthy University Week today (19 November).

At the opening ceremony, UM Rector Yonghua Song said that UM attaches great importance to the physical and mental well-being of its faculty, staff and students, adding that the Healthy University Week is held every year to raise awareness about health, safety, and environmental protection among UM members.

This year’s activities will include workshops on occupational safety and environmentally friendly products, a seminar on first-aid knowledge, influenza vaccination, and visits to fire and rescue facilities.
