The University of Macau (UM) Chinese-Portuguese Bilingual Teaching and Training Centre will hold a workshop on research methods in the studies of multilingualism policies tomorrow (10 April) at 7:00pm. The speaker, Gilvan Müller de Oliveira, is an associate professor from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil and the chief coordinator of language policies for multilingualism at the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Oliveira will discuss strategies for protecting and promoting multilingualism. The talk will take place in Room E21A-1041, Humanities and Social Sciences Building, UM. All are welcome.
