Microsoft Expert Zhang Hongjiang Gives Lectures on the Future Trend of AI Industry at UM

The University of Macau (UM) held the third lecture of its University Lecture Series, titled ‘From Big Data to AI: An Industrial Perspective’. Dr Zhang Hongjiang, former executive director and CEO of Kingsoft and former managing director of Microsoft Advanced Technology Center, was the keynote speaker. He discussed the driving forces, such as big data, computing power, and new algorithms, behind the breakthroughs in artificial intelligence in recent years and the importance of big data.
