UM’s Service Leaders visit the disadvantaged

Participants in the University of Macau’s (UM) Service Leader Programme organised a series of activities between September and November. The students visited various local organisations, including a children’s centre under Caritas de Macau, Best Buddies Macao Association, Macau Special Olympics, a service centre under the Salvation Army, Oxfam Macau, and Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service (Macau). The students also organised various activities, including cooking and kite activities, food delivery services for seniors, and birthday parties. The activities were co-organised by Chao Kuang Piu College, Shiu Pong College, Stanley Ho East Asia College, and the Student Affairs Office, with the purpose of encouraging students to participate in volunteer activities and give back to society.
