UM professor receives Pacific-Basin Finance Journal Research Excellence Award

Ren Jinjuan, an associate professor of finance from the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Business Administration, recently received the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal Research Excellence Award at the 28th Asian Finance Association Annual Meeting, for her paper on margin trading and stock price crash risk. Held in Bangkok, Thailand, the meeting attracted hundreds of international experts and scholars in the fields of finance and economy. Out of the 200 papers submitted to the evaluation panel, only ten were selected as best papers, with four awarded the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal Research Excellence Award.
