The 13th Asian New Humanities Net Annual Meeting will be held at the University of Macau (UM) on Friday 22 April and Saturday 23 April. Approximately 50 renowned scholars in the field of social sciences and the humanities, from the United States, Germany, Japan, Singapore, mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao, will attend the conference. Participants will discuss a wide range of topics related to the development of the humanities in Asia, including the international influence of port cities, the development of and challenges facing port cities in a new era, and the changing identity of port cities. The event is co-organised by UM’s Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Arts and Humanities, as well as the Macao Foundation. All are welcome.
