The University of Macau’s (UM) Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) recently organised a career fair, in an effort to provide its students with more internship and job opportunities. Numerous well-known companies and organisations from Macao and abroad participated in the fair.

Over the years FST has spared no effort to brighten the students’ employment prospects. Earlier a delegation from FST visited Secretary for Transport and Public Works Lau Si Io. Lau promised to provide full support to FST students where internship opportunities are concerned. Four bachelor’s degree programmes offered by FST received accreditation from the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in 2012.

More than 100 FST students are expected to graduate and enter the job market this summer. Another 300 eligible students can choose to earn credits by working as interns at local or overseas organisations during the summer holiday.
