The first Chinese Medicine Development Strategy Summit opened at the University of Macau (UM) today (5 December). Dozens of scholars and experts in medical research and management from overseas, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and mainland China attended the summit. Participants had discussions on the technological innovation, development strategy as well as the expansion of Chinese medicine on the international market.

Officiating guests included UM Rector Wei Zhao, China National Center for Biotechnology Development Vice Director An Daochang, Science and Technology Development Fund Administratie Committee President Tong Chi Kin, as well as International Society for Chinese Medicine President and UM’s University Council Chair Tse Chi Wai.
