An 11-member delegation of the University of Macau (UM), led by Prof Maggie Fu, acting dean of the Graduate School, recently went to Shanghai and Zhejiang to promote UM’s postgraduate programmes, in particular UM’s early and general admissions for the 2014/2015 academic year. Members of the delegation included Prof Jacky Hong from the Faculty of Business Administration, Prof George Cheng from the Faculty of Education, Prof Jiang Chaoyang and Prof Paulo Canelas de Castro from the Faculty of Law, Prof Hao Yufan, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSH), Prof Andrew Moody, also from FSH, Prof Gong Zhiguo from the Faculty of Science and Technology, Ms Carol Wong, functional head of mainland affairs of the Global Affairs Office, as well as Dr Roberto Noronha and Ms Nora Ieong from the Graduate School.

The delegation visited Tongji University’s Zhejiang College Campus and Shanghai Campus, the East China University of Political Science & Law, Fudan University’s Law School, and Shanghai Normal University.

At each university, UM delegation was warmly received and held in-depth discussions with their counterparts about UM’s postgraduate programmes and future collaboration opportunities.
