Wang Meng to become writer-in-residence at UM

To advance cultural and literary development in Macao, the Macao Foundation and the University of Macau (UM) co-organised a Writers-and-Artists-in-Residence Programme, through which leading writers and artists from around the world will be invited to Macao to share insights. The first writer-in-residence at UM will be Wang Meng, a renowned writer and recipient of an honorary doctorate from UM. Wang Meng is going to stay in Macao for a month, during which time he will write, give lectures, meet with other writers, etc. The opening ceremony for the Writers-and-Artists-in-Residence Programme and Wang Meng’s lecture will take place on Wednesday 7 November. All are welcome.
