| University of Macau’s Martial Arts Team wins 18 gold and 2 silver at an international competition in Hangzhou |
Nine students of the University of Macau’s (UM) Martial Arts Team won eighteen gold medals and two silver medals, as well as the “Contribution to Martial Arts Award”, at the ninth Zhejiang International Traditional Wushu Competition, held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
Organized by Zhejiang Sports Bureau, the competition is the largest traditional martial arts competition in Asia. This year’s competition attracted over five thousand athletes from all over the world.
