Recently, the University of Macau (UM) Library held an illustrated talk on the history of China over the past century since the Revolution of 1911. Managing Director and General Manager of the Commercial Press (H.K.) Ltd Dr. Steven Luk and Prof. Chow Kai Wing of the Department of History at Hong Kong Baptist University were invited to be the speakers.
Another ongoing event related to the Revolution of 1911 is a photo exhibition in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, which is now being held in the Anthony S.W. Lau Exhibition Hall at UM Library. The exhibition opens from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm until 27 November. All are welcome. For enquiries, please call 83978170.
