Today (14 November 2011) the University of Macau (UM) kicked off the fifth Healthy University Week, to promote messages of health, safety and environmental protection. As this year also marks the 30th anniversary of UM, activities in celebration of the anniversary are also being organized. UM is committed to building a healthy, safe and eco-friendly campus for the purpose of providing an excellent environment for learning, research and work.
At the launch ceremony, awards were presented, experiences were shared by representatives of student health ambassadors, and magical tricks were performed. Various activities, including medical tests, seminars, competitions, and vaccinations. will be held during the remainder of this week.
