Recently the University of Macau (UM) Library held a seminar on the management of academic libraries in the twenty-first century. This is the thirteenth seminar of the Library Professional Development Seminar Series, which was launched in 2007. Since its launch, experts and scholars on library and information sciences from around the world have been invited to deliver keynote speeches to improve UM Library staff’s knowledge in the field.
