At the invitation of the University of Macau (UM), Master Hsing Yun, founder of the Buddhist organization Foguang Mountain, came to UM on 29 April and gave a talk about the philosophy of life at UM’s Cultural Centre. The talk attracted more than 700 people.
In his welcome speech, UM Rector Wei Zhao said that Master Hsing Yun has always tried to use his own experiences to convey to the public the message that one should respect, love, tolerate and serve everyone, which is also the set of values UM is committed to instilling into its students.
