| Duan Xiao Lin |
Duan Xiao Lin, a master’s student of the Department of Government and Public Administration, the University of Macau (UM), recently won the first prize in the youth category, along with USD 1000, at an essay contest in commemoration of the Revolution of 1911 in China, for his essay entitled “Comments on Mr. Sun Yat-Sen’s Thoughts from the Perspective of International Politics”. Co-organized by the Macao Region China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification and the Sun Yat-Sen Foundation (China), this essay contest was open to Chinese people in different parts of the world, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The panel of judges received more than 400 entries.
