The first six-day MOTAI Model United Nations 2011, Macau& Tainan, which was co-organized by the University of Macau (UM) and the Cheng Kung University, lately ended at the Cheng Kung University. This was the first cross-straits model united nations conference organized by the Chinese community. More than 300 people participated in it. Mr. Zhang Yunfei from the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in Macao SAR said that she hoped this conference would become an important platform for the youth in Taiwan and Macao to exchange ideas and learn from each other.
