The 24th Portuguese Language and Culture Summer Programme organized by the Department of Portuguese of the University of Macau (UM) will end this Friday (30 July).


The closing ceremony will take place at the Cultural Centre of UM at 4:00 p.m..


The course opened on 5 July. 300 students from the Chinese Mainland (including Beijing, Shanghai, Hebei, Tianjin and Guangdong), South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Queen’s Mary University of London, and Macao attended the course, distributed in eleven class sections across four instruction levels: Beginners (2 classes) ; Basic (4 classes) ; Intermediate(4 classes) and Advanced (2 classes).


Apart from the abovementioned classes, the organizer also arranged for students to take part in various extracurricular activities, such as visits, watching movies, learning Portuguese folk dances and drawings, etc.
