The Centre for Studies of Translation, Interpreting and Cognition (CSTIC) is pleased to announce the 1st Roundtable Seminar on Translation Studies and Translation Studies Research Methodology, to be held on 18-19 November 2017 at University of Macau, Macau SAR, China. Subsequent to the successful organization of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd International Symposium on Cognitive Research on Translation and Interpreting in 2014, 2015 and 2016 respectively, this year’s seminar covers the following areas:
Academic writing and publishing in translation studies Methods in researching translation history Corpus as a research method in translation studies Methods in researching translation processes Critical discourse analysis as a research method in translation studies Methods in interpreting studies Methods in researching literary translation
The seminar has invited scholars from Macau, China, Denmark and UK to give speeches and discussions. It is a fruitful opportunity for exchange of ideas on translation and interpreting researches.
