The light of fishing boats has been flickering along the coast of Macau for hundreds of years. Macau used to be a fishing village and many inhabitants made a living out of fishing. However, the light from boats becomes dimmer and dimmer in our generation as more and more fishermen have abandoned their fishing boats and moved to live ashore. |

| Patients out of Patience Because of Shortage of Nurses | ||||

Patients are losing their patience because they have waited in an outpatient clinic for half an hour. However, all of the nurses are busy with other patients. There are not enough nurses in the clinic. Macau is short of nursing manpower despite the significant increase of 7.2% in 2006, according to the statistics conducted by the Department of Health, the Government of Macau Special Administrative Region in 2006. |
