Professional services

Provide consultative services to provincial Ministry of Education on evaluation of the validity of its current quality evaluation systems and suggestions for reform; Conduct quality evaluation reports for schools districts in Macau and Mainland China on their performances on classroom quality experiences and children's development and learning outcomes.

 

Professional development

Provide training on:

Use of classroom quality assessment tools, such as Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale-Revised (ECERS-R); Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS);

Strategies for improvement of learning environments and emotional, behavioral, and instructional support in early childhood classrooms

 

Children's learning and developmental competencies assessment and related teaching strategies including:

• Early literacy and language development

• Early mathematics and science

• Social emotional development and self-regulation

• Creativity
