Hotel Information

We recommend participants to stay in Sands Cotai Central as it has an incredible choice of hotels locate in close proximity, including Sheraton Macao, Conrad Macao, Holiday Inn Macao, and St. Regis Macao. Shuttle buses will be arranged to pick up and drop off participants at Holiday Inn Macao. The estimated walking time from the other hotels in Sands Cotai Central to the shuttle stop is about 5-8 minutes. 

Getting to Macao

By Air

Macau International Airport offers scheduled flights to major cities in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, and Japan.

By Sea

From Hong Kong:
TurboJet and Cotai Water Jet offer frequent sailings to Macau. The journey is expected to take about one hour. Visitors may embark at the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal, the China Ferry Terminal, or the Tuen Mun Ferry Terminal and disembark at either the Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal or the Taipa Ferry Terminal.

From Hong Kong International Airport:
Visitors arriving via the Hong Kong International Airport may transfer to Macau via the SkyPier. Passengers can transit to Macau without going through the Hong Kong Immigration. The sailing time is approximately 70 minutes.

By Land

Visitors can enter Macao by land through the Border Gate checkpoint, the Cotai Checkpoint or the Zhuhai-Macao Cross-border Industrial Zone Checkpoint.

Passports and Visas

All visitors must hold a passport or a valid travel document for travel to Macao.

All visitors are required to have a visa except nationals of countries which are exempted from a visa or entry permit. For more information on visa and entry permit exemption, please visit the website of the Immigration Service of the Public Security Police Force, Macao

A Macau visa can be obtained through the Embassies/Consulates of the PRC and should be used within its validity. Visitors may also apply for an entry permit or visa upon arrival at the immigration checkpoint. However, visitors from certain countries are required to obtain a visa in advance before their trip to Macao.
