Course Selection Template
The course selection template (template) is a work for the outgoing exchange students to refer to when selecting courses in their Host University. The template is created according to the past record of credit transfer of that specific overseas institution, and it is a quick and easy reference for the students to utilize when preparing for the learning agreement. The template shows which overseas course could be a highly similar match to certain UM course. Therefore, students can select the overseas courses according to the progress of their study plan.
However, since the template is composed based on the past record of credit transfer, there is possibility that any course on the list being denied by the academic staff. It may be due to change of course content, teaching method and textbook selection, etc. of either the overseas course or the pairing UM course. In addition, all cases of credits transfer are required to obey the "General Regulations Governing Bachelor's Degrees Programmes"; therefore, if any course on the template is found unqualified to transfer after reviewing the updated course description, it could be denied as well.
